Mike Paolella at Phoenix Rising gameI was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and have lived in the Valley of the Sun for 16 years. Football is my religion and I love the culture that comes with it. Being of Italian and Polish decent I watch a lot of Serie A and The Ekstraklasa.

I am a member of the Banditos Ultras Club, and support Phoenix Rising FC. Outside of the U.S, I am a supporter of Livorno in Italy, Jagiellonia Bialystok of Poland, and part of the Official Accrington Stanley Supporters Club of North America. The thing I love most about football is the culture that surrounds it. My favorite position on the pitch is goalkeeper and I still play the position till this day.
